How stepping out of your comfort zone changes you!!!

Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new. When you take responsibility for your life, serendipitous events unfold and lead you to awaken your inherent wisdom. At this level you must be willing to step out of your comfort zone and meet life with passion and fervour. In an increasingly competitive, cautious and accelerated world, those who are willing to take risks, step out of their comfort zone and into the discomfort of uncertainty will be those who will reap the biggest rewards. As children, we're natural risk-takers. But as we get older and learn to fear failure, we start holding ourselves back and attempting fewer new things. This comes at a high cost to our tremendous potential for lifelong growth and transformation. Our comfort zones tend to shrink as we get older -- but if we can keep expanding them, we'll open ourselves up to greater fulfillment and improved well-being as we...

When you a find a sister in your friend!

Sister or best friend? Sometimes, you can't tell the difference. Granted, your college bestie hasn't quite been there since day one. But, she's completely stolen a piece of your heart. In fact she is that first person with whom you can share anything and everything.. Whether it's an object,  gossips, or any moment. You can randomly go to her room,  just to use her washroom or to give her an oil massage. You are so close that you let each other raid the closet. Sometimes you share each other nail polish and sometimes you become each other's fashion advisor. When you are hungry and you have nothing to eat,  she's the first person you contact. You always meet each other at a specific spot. Whenever you're planning on meeting up in the middle of the day, you know exactly where to go. In a lot of ways, it's made your university feel smaller and more like home. Growing up, you and your sister had places like this, too, that got dubbed "your spot....

Together but yet apart!!!

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder"!!! Sometimes we make promises to stay together forever but yet time changes everything and for everyone... Every relationship doesn't have a prosperous future,  you maybe physically present but yet avoiding each other.. Sometimes there may be situations where you both are correct in your own ways but yet together you are poles apart and end up in conflict.. It's said that conflict in relationships make the bond more stronger and healthy... But every time it's not true.   It breaks your heart,  it breaks your trust and it breaks your friendship. Sometimes we keep on thinking about them and our relationship with them... Of what we were and what we are... Despite of the fact that you aren't together yet you miss them and think about them every single day... The perfect relationship between you both.. Suddenly becomes a strange known relationship.. Every person sitting with you ain't not be close to you now.. Becau...

Letter To My Best Friend

Who said that a girl and boy cannot be friends... Well to all those who think like that.. Let me tell you I have a crazy best friend and it's a blessing when you find someone who is as crazy and insane as you... Crazy friends make the best friends. They’re the ones who stand out, whose shared memories are always two parts fun and one part completely horrifying. We all want a friend who makes us laugh and listen to our stupid insane daily activities. It doesn't matter whether its a girl or boy. No matter what time it is,  they're always ready for illogical conversations over phone,  WhatsApp and Facebook. Also, you can talk to them anywhere and at any time whether you're listening to songs or washing clothes or studying for an exam...  The truth is, in a world that enforces normality and easily rewards its followers, I think all people would benefit from a little bit of crazy in their lives. It takes you outside of your comfort zone and opens you up to a subtle an...

Bodyshaming leads to Depression

Body shaming is someone trying to make you feel bad for having a body that doesn't conform to cultural beauty ideals. People have a definite notion of “beauty” which defines standards of skin colour, body dimensions, hair length, or the kind of clothes someone should or should not wear. People are always too thin, too fat, too tall, too short, too dark, or too fair for the society, and it has repercussions that are not even realised in everyday life. Body shaming affects mental and physical health in surprising ways- both for the person who is body shaming and the one who is being body shamed. Some believe that making overweight people feel ashamed of their weight or eating habits may motivate them to get healthier. But the reality is that they get more conscious and concerned about their looks, and hence they loose their own personality and imbibe someone else personality,  without even understanding their own strengths. What body-shamers do not understand is that t...

Sometimes its important to be rude...

Rudeness is defined as behaviour that violates social or organisational norms. Norms are our expectations of which behaviours are, or are not, appropriate or acceptable. For example, most people wouldn’t burst into song in the middle of a library, where the norm indicates you should be quiet. But sometimes being polite to others can cause you pain and hatred... Also being rude to those who don't deserve your kind and humble nature is sometimes really important... Who said that it's always important to be good,  sometimes it's important to be bad and discover your wild side... Its true that people around you need another source of entertainment for their own time pass... Reality is when you are rude to someone you just express how you feel about that person,  its just another way to share your opinion. It's true that being rude to everyone ain't a good habit but being to someone doesn't makes you small or disgraceful. Sometimes being kind always end up into ...

Love Inside You!!!

Love is an incredible feeling. It is one of life’s most fulfilling experiences. The ability to have an affectionate and intimate connection with another person is one of the most important things in life. Love is as critical for your mind and body as oxygen. It's not negotiable. The more connected you are, the healthier you will be both physically and emotionally. The less connected you are, the more you are at risk. Love in its various forms acts as a major facilitator of interpersonal relationships and, owing to its central psychological importance, is one of the most common themes in the creative arts. Love is so hard to define because it doesn’t exist as a materialistic thing,  but feeling. We can feel love for our significant others, our parents, friends, children and pets. Some of us direct our love toward God, or celebrities, and we can showcase love for our neighbors, country and objects. Love can be blind, misguided, tragic, unconditional, steadfast and inconsistent. It ...
