Studying Abroad : Advantage OR Disadvantage

In 21st century , where the world has globalised , the trend of students going abroad for their studies has significantly increased. By this they get admission in world's best universities to pursue their degree. Yet we can't deny that this definitely has some disadvantages.
After completing secondary education young generation dreams of going overseas for higher education.There are many advantages of studying overseas.Many students get exposed to wider range of courses in a particular field, also they get an exposure to higher and advanced technology. There is another advantage of   abroad , it enhances an individual's personality traits.Students learn to live independently far away from family and relatives. Thus, they learn to settle the problems by themselves and at the same time growing up as mature adults. Furthermore, students get an exposure to different cultures and traditions.Such an experience would serve as a useful ability for prospective careers in their future.
Although,some disadvantages stem from studying abroad can't be ignored.Studying overseas is something that everyone can't pursue without a grant of scholarship, unless an individual belongs to affluent family.Everyone can't afford the cost of living and tuition fees of studying abroad, prices are really expensive.Most students also do part time jobs so it becomes difficult to meet both ends, which therefore effects their performance in studies. Also students have to leave their family and friends for long time which leads to home sickness and moreover at times it becomes difficult to settle in different country within a different culture.
In conclusion, as every coin has two sides , similarly, many students face problem in adjusting into a different culture, yet this can help in opening new horizons for them to develop their skills.

    Good observation, further I would like to add that selecting right university in right country is also a big challenge else the student lands up waisting his precious time and money. To study in good university which is globally recognised it is not only the money that matters, moreover such universities emphasis on your academic track record and your score in IELTS etc. To encourage meritorious students good university offer scholarship. Finally it is equally important to check the placement track record of the university. Well written Yasha, keep it up.
