Youth and Generation Gap

Changing of ideas lead to modernisation which helps in the progressive growth of society.The larger the period , the wider are the differences in attitudes and idea.The reason can only be explained through analysis of the generation gap.
In many societies generation gap effects the ideas in various fields. Today the youth believes in practical and logical thinking whereas the older generation believes in myths and customs, example older generation still feels that boys should only be allowed to pursue education and girls should learn the household work and handle the kitchen of their house. Moreover our grandparents still feel cutting nails during night is a curse but if we think logically the reason behind that myth was that since  there was no light during night so mother's in olden times  didn't wanted children to byte nail accidentally. The younger generation today have an access to various social medias which not only broadens their thinking but also spread awareness among them. Yet the older generation are trapped within the societal norms.
Due to globalisation the youth is more aware and thinks more practically which in future helps the society. Due to women empowerment there is a lot of development in the country which also benefits us globally.Indra Nooyi who is the CEO of pepsico, the second largest food and beverage business in the world by net revenue.She has consistently ranked among the World's 100 Most Powerful Women. Moreover due to awareness by the government youth now believes in family planning and most importantly to have a stable career. 
However, the generation gap has created various issues among the families yet the ideas of youth has always created development in society and nation.

    We appreciate your views. I would like to add further that with the increased exposure to electronic media this gap is bridging up since the youth of today have wider exposure towards the reality of life on the other hand even the elders have become more understanding and adjusting. They are also trying to cope with digital world and the modern culture. Elders guide the youth whom they love the most, based on their experiences in life. In my view one should respect the views of their elders by listening to them and then take their decisions.

Its seen that unknowns often become best friends but what do we say when best friends become strangers? Do their conversations change? Do they even talk or ignore each other in public? Deep conversation often take place between those who have close bonding but those conversation are missed when the person suddenly becomes a stranger.
