Betrayal from someone close

The heart of a human being is really sensitive and delicate. When it connects with someone, we start trusting that person.
Trusting someone means that you think they are reliable, you have confidence in them and you feel safe with them physically and emotionally. It is something that two people in a relationship can build together when they decide to trust each other. But with time things change, at times we only see one side of the coin and forget to see the other, similarly we get connected to one side of the person and forget to see the real side.
Betrayal in any relationship leads to loosing of faith and trust with others.
Once your heart is broken it becomes difficult for you to accept the apology from the person.
It's said that sometimes it takes several actions to make a good relationship but it takes only one wrong step to betray someone.
Betrayal often comes in the most unexpected form from the unexpected ones.
It's funny how sometimes the people you'd take a bullet for are the ones behind the trigger.Depending on the severity of the lie, and the severity of the consequences, you may just want to permanently distance yourself from them.

While it may be possible to overcome it, the truth is that you might not want to do so. Life is just too short to waste time on people who have betrayed you.

Breaking someone’s trust is like crumpling up a perfect piece of paper. You can smooth it over, but it’s never going to be the same again.
