Placements- Season of Stress

As we enter final year , the one thing that makes our life stressful and annoys us is the placement season. As soon as a final year student enters the college after the vacations , the faculty of college first provides him with placement training and then questions him why he wishes to sit in the placement. From outside placement season may seem to be the most exciting time, because we get to wear formals, get free ODs and labs get cancel. But believe me things aren't as glorifying as it seems to be, it's filled with patience and hardwork. A student who sits for placement hopes that he gets placed in the best company and with a decent package, but reality hits him hard, when he is unable to qualify even the aptitude rounds or when he gets rejected in the HR round, during such situations he only wishes to get placed in any company where he gets some package. The worst feeling is when you suffer from problems like server crash, rescheduling of test dates and having more than ...

Kids Born in 90s...

Our greatest human adventure is the evolution of consciousness. We are in this life to enlarge the soul, liberate the spirit, and light up the brain.... Evolution is something that has played a major role in the lifestyle of a kid who is born in 90s. This generation has seen the biggest transition the world has ever witnessed - "era of computers". Now its impossible to believe that people could live in this earth ,20-30 years, back without computers, mobiles, internet etc. The kids of 90s has seen transition from landline to dual camera smartphones. Especially in our country, kids who once used to hear the daily news in Doordarshan , can now read in electronic gadgets. Today we have various mobile applications, but 20yrs back people used to depend on news channel or radios. Payment then was not through Paytm but was either through cash or cheque. In those days communication was a big problem, either PCOs or letters. Today everything is just a touch away. Kids then used...

Giving another chance worth it?

Relationships are nothing like a simple mathematics algorithm. It's the variable human factor in them that makes them far more complicated and difficult to understand. Sometimes we fall apart and grow distant from someone we really love and wonder if it is worth giving the relationship another shot. Often we regret the fact of not giving another chance or sometimes the situation doesn't demands. While, there is no doubt that we know them best, sometimes our judgments do get clouded by the one bad thing that happened. At times we can't get over them from our minds , we keep on scrolling our phone's gallery and recalling old memories. Things do become different after a while, and it may not be same but we can't deny , that no relationship is perfect compromises and adjustment makes it perfect. But the truth is, our happiness should never come from another person. No one can make us happy.  Yet second chance is the sign of progressive and healthy relationship.

People try to prove others wrong!!!

In the choice between changing ones mind and proving others wrong, most people get busy on the proof! We say that 21st century has a fast moving lifestyle, but sadly today the people are emotionless and just try to put the blame on others. Proving others wrong may provide you with temporary satisfaction and happiness, but analysing your own mistakes and rectifying them may sound tough but would provide you with permanent happiness. Blaming someone else is the most easy way to ignore others , but communicating and understanding someone will clear your doubts. You become right in a situation when you move the conversation from a disagreement to a shared understanding — and even then, it doesn’t mean the other person is wrong. You cannot overlook the fact that just as tightly as you are holding the conviction in what you think, know, or are an expert in, the other person in the conversation is likely holding their beliefs as true. And when you run up against the sa...

All izz Well

Love yourself, it is important to stay positive because beauty comes from the inside out. Positivity is something that comes from directly from our soul and lifestyle. Struggle and pain are not all that’s there, even if they’re all we can see in a certain moment. It's not easy to deal with problems but negativity is about finding fault and worry in people and situations. It’s about focusing on the one thing that went wrong when a zillion others went right. And it’s about belittling people without attempting to see who they are. Rather, it’s about choosing to see the good in life, believing in the power of encouragement, and having hope that things will get better .Positive thinking doesn't mean that you keep your head in the sand and ignore life's less pleasant situations. Positive thinking just means that we approach unpleasantness in a more positive and productive way. We think the best is going to happen, not the worst. Positivi...

We dont talk anymore

Its seen that unknowns often become best friends but what do we say when best friends become strangers? Do their conversations change? Do they even talk or ignore each other in public? Deep conversation often take place between those who have close bonding but those conversation are missed when the person suddenly becomes a stranger. We do miss that person ,we miss the crazy ideas we used to share, we miss their presence. We miss how they used to question us for every single thing, their tantrums , the way they used to address us , their one word answer about our fashion sense. We definitely miss their presence because with them we used to share our deepest and darkest secret, it's tough to move on but we have to face the reality... Despite the fact we don't talk anymore, we definitely pray for each other's success and are proud of their achievements. It's tough to have same old conversation with them again but they are the ones with whom we made the best memori...

Sharing emotions during conversation

Conversation is interactive communication between two or more people. The development of conversational skills in a new language is a frequent focus of language teaching and learning. This includes exchange of ideas and emotions between two people. Expressing feelings in a safe way can lead to our feeling more connected , especially to loved ones.  Knowing how to express feelings tactfully therefore is vital if you want to feel close to people and to sustain your  relationships. It's not correct to hide your emotions but to share it in a safe way is always a challenge. Thoughts are fine to share. At the same time, thoughts convey dry information, not the juice of what you are experiencing within.  Feelings have a stronger bonding impact. So while sharing thoughts does build a sense of connection, the connection is less intense than when you also look inside yourself and then share the feelings that you discover there: hopeful, discouraged, pleased, wary, frustrated,...
